Language Courses A1 – B1
In the integration course, you will learn German for everyday life, work and living in Germany. You will learn German up to language level B1. At the end, you will take the ‘German Test for Immigrants’ (DTZ). After that, you will take the orientation course. You will learn about the laws, history, culture and important values. At the end, you will take the ‘Living in Germany’ (LiD) test.

Childcare
With the new ESF Plus programme ‘Integration Course with Child Plus: Prospects through Qualification’, the Federal Ministry of Education, Family, Seniors, Women and Youth, in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of the Interior, has further developed childcare services to accompany integration courses. Under the new ESF Plus programme, providers can offer childcare services in close proximity to the integration course during the course, which are subsidiary to the regular childcare system. This enables parents to participate in an integration course and promotes their integration if regular childcare is not yet available and the children to be supervised are not yet of school age. This bridging service prepares children and families for the transition to regular childcare provision in the early childhood education system. In addition, the ESF Plus programme attracts potential skilled workers – including from among integration course participants – to the field of early childhood education, care and upbringing.
The European Social Fund Plus is the European Union’s most important instrument for promoting employment in Europe. It improves access to better jobs, enables people to gain qualifications and supports social integration. With the continuation of the federal government’s commitment, the aim is to further promote the continuation of childcare services accompanying integration courses.
